Waikiki Landmark penthouses on the market for $12.5M

Reporter-Pacific Business News

Jack Tyrrell, president of Jack Tyrrell & Co., and Morrie Stoebner, president of Honda Windward, have recently purchased the four penthouse residences at the iconic Waikiki Landmark from an Asian billionaire for an undisclosed amount and put them back on the market for $12.5 million....

Tyrrell, a Hawaii real estate veteran, told PBN that keeping the property, which spans more than 10,000 square feet and encompasses nine bedrooms and nine full bathrooms, also is an option.

He and Steobner hosted a broker’s open house on Wednesday, with many of the state’s top Realtors stopping by, including Herwin Hung, owner of Properties of the Pacific.

Tyrrell says they also would be interested in selling the penthouse units separately, including two of the units totaling more than 5,000 square feet, for $7 million.

Tyrrell is no stranger to pricey properties, as he and his wife recently purchased a penthouse suite as an investment at Waihonua.

Meantime, Stoebner, also has a taste for high-end real estate. In 2006, he sold his estate at the upper end of beachfront Kailua for a then-record of $24 million.
