This year's event features the always-popular Pet Costume Contest and Partner Events at local businesses, including the following:
Purve Donuts: Exclusive "Peanut Butter Fluff for Furries" donut, available at all Purve locations from October 18 through October 24, 2021. Proceeds from donut sales go to support Hawaiian Humane Society. The "Peanut Butter Fluff for Furries!" donut is covered in peanut butter glaze and has a marshmallow fluff "paw pad" with white chocolate "toe beans". Order a dozen exclusive donuts and receive a "doggie bag" with a treat for your furry friend (subject to availability).

California Pizza Kitchen: California Pizza Kitchen (Kahala location) is partnering with Hawaiian Humane Society to help fundraise for PetWalk 2021. Dine with California Pizza Kitchen on October 19, 2021 and raise funds for O'ahu's animals.

Honolulu Beerworks: is celebrating PetWalk the whole month of October 2021! Enjoy the new “Greenbone IPA” and support O’ahu’s animals at the same time. Purchase a pint of “Greenbone IPA” throughout the month of October and Honolulu Beerworks will donate $1 to the Hawaiian Humane Society. The opportunity is available from October 1-31, 2021 at the Honolulu Beerworks Brew Pub located at 328 Cooke St., Honolulu, 96813.

This important fundraiser allows the Hawaiian Humane Society to perform life-changing work, including the following:
On average, we invest $500 in resources and services to prepare animals for adoption. This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, housing & food, behavior support and more.
Animals made available for adoption, with the exception of some small animals, are spayed and neutered before heading to their new homes. We spayed and neutered more than 700 animals last year.
Some animals require socialization, time to recover from surgery, or are too young to be spayed/neutered before they can be available for adoption. Our Foster Care program placed 1,292 animals in foster homes last year.
It costs on average $28,000 each day to provide numerous services.
