Let's Talk Real Estate! Happy Holidays 2023 Update

Dear Valued Clients and Friends:

As we wrap up another year, we, Jack and May, want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to you. Your trust and partnership in your real estate endeavors have been the cornerstone of our journey.

This year, like a home, has been a structure built on moments of challenge and joy. In the bustling real estate world, finding balance and savoring life's fullness can be like navigating a complex floor plan. But together, we've turned blueprints into realities and houses/condos into homes.

As we step into 2024, let's continue to build. May this new year be like a well-designed space - full of light, warmth, and the promise of new possibilities. We wish you growth, happiness, and a series of small and significant victories in your personal and professional life.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. Here's to a prosperous New Year filled with balance, joy, and a place to call your own, every step of the way.

Warm wishes,

Jack & May

As we wrap up a remarkable year, we can't help but share our enthusiasm for the diverse and vibrant additions that have recently joined the Ward Village community. Each new establishment brings its unique flavor and character, enriching the neighborhood experience for us all.

  • Okayama Kobo Bakery & Cafe: You'll have to line up early to enjoy these popular Japanese pastries! Taking over the former Starbucks space, the bakery offers a distinctly authentic experience and specializes in crafting bread and pastries exclusively with 100% Hokkaido flour imported from Japan. Okayama Kobo Bakery & Cafe has two locations in Japan and two in California, with the Honolulu establishment marking a significant addition. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Straits: Featuring a fusion of Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, Indian, and Nyonya cuisine, Straits aims to infuse a tropical, dynamic atmosphere that mirrors the spirit of Singapore. This is their second location, with an existing presence at Santana Row in San Jose, California. Open from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

  • Land & Sea Golf: Land & Sea Golf, a retail destination specializing in golf, surf, travel, and outdoor apparel, has recently debuted at South Shore Market, taking over the former space of Eden in Love. In addition to its existing locations in San Diego and Carmel, California, the store brings a curated selection of golf apparel and renowned brands from both the West Coast and Hawaii, including their own exclusive signature line. The store also features artwork from local talents such as Nick Kuchar and Kean Arts. Whether you're a golfer, surfer, traveler, or a dedicated shopper, there's something for everyone! Open daily, hours vary.

  • Toyo Kitchen Style: Ward Centre welcomes this contemporary Japanese store specializing in modern kitchen decor and accessories. Atsuko Sekido, the president of Toyo Kitchen Style, emphasized the kitchen's significance as the heart of the home, expressing the company's commitment to enhancing customers' lives through beauty, quality, and originality in custom kitchen design. The store features lighting, home goods, furniture, and hosts workshops. Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed Tuesdays.

As we wrap up 2023, we want to share some our team's favorite quotes to live by or reflect on:

To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT HEALTH PLAN FOR YOUR FAMILY

As we step into the new year, prioritizing health is more crucial than ever. We appreciate our friends at Get2Insurance, who remain committed to aiding Hawaii residents in choosing the right health plan for their families. Martha Khlopin, Managing Director, emphasizes the growing recognition among health insurance companies regarding the benefits of preventive measures.

"In the coming year, health insurance companies are actively promoting fitness, offering discounts and reimbursements for gym memberships," explains Khlopin. Don't overlook no-cost fitness activities in your plans.

Watch this interview with Khlopin to learn more and be inspired to make informed decisions that prioritize both your health and financial well-being.
